Monday, July 6
New Moon in Capricorn
Monday starts us off with the moon in the sign of the Goat. Capricorn is the archetype of the wise elder, manager, CEO. This social ladder climber is ruled by Saturn and likes things that are solid, long lasting and built with integrity. The energy can be a bit solitary at times, as the Goat can also be a hermit and prone to feelings of depression. If there's lots to do today, this industrious, if not a bit agressive moon can help to get you organized and productive.
The number 26 is also popping up again, with Mars (our drive, will power and sexual energy) in solid earthy Taurus squaring off with Jupiter (faith, expansion, inspiration) and Neptune (dreams, imagination, compassion) in original and freedom-oriented Aquarius. Those of us with planets or house cusps at 26 degrees (give or take a few degrees) will continue to be triggered or activated in some way and will have little rest. Mars is "I want it now, Daddy!" kind of motivation, while the Jupiter/Neptune pair is visionary and creative. This combination of planets and tense energy might drive us into a bit of impulsive action before our vision has had the time to be well planned out. Not the best day to launch something new, even though we may feel like it, simply because there will be too much "built-in" tension.
In addition, Pluto (power, transformation) and Venus (love, affection) are quicunxing eachother, which might leave us feeling unloved and not worthy of a good and satistfying relationship...maybe some feelings of jealousy and insecurity. It's really about overcoming fear and acting with honesty and integrity. Remember that when Pluto is involved, it is almost always about surrender. Sometimes we must surrender an obsessive thought pattern, a co-dependent behavior or even an addictive need to always be right. Once we are able to surrender that which does not serve our ultimate motivation and highest good, then we will be in the prime position to receive the power of transformational (Pluto) love (Venus).

Tuesday, July 7
Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn
It happens at 15 degrees Capricorn. Eclipse energy amplifies the intensity of any lunar cycle and makes it abundantly more powerful. Whichever astrological house the Full Moon falls in your natal chart will be an area of your life that is ripe for harvest. The Full Moon is the time to ask, "Am I fulfilled in this area of my life? And, if not, why not? What can I do to change?" (Read Astro 101 in the left hand column to find out more about the Full Moon cycle.)
Mars (action) and Uranus (rebel, revolutionary) are teaming up today to help us discover new possibilties or exciting and creative ideas. Whereas Mars may have been tripping us up yesturday, today gets a green light for initiating new plans and projects. Keep a look-out for sudden opportunties or original, out-of-the-box solutions to old problems. Utilize the full strenth of the moon in steady, dependable Capricorn to get the job done.
We have all heard that the Full Moons make people crazy and cause them to act weird. Since the moon in Capricorn will be in oppostion to the sun in Cancer, the shadow side of either one might be seen in those around you that have not planted any "proverbial seeds of intent" and therefore have nothing to harvest this Full Moon. The Shadow side of the Goat is depressed, callous, cruel, irresponsible, domineering, bossy and controlling. Cancer's shadow behavior is also controlling, insecure, worry-wart, dependent, smothering, aggressive and pushy. We all have Capricorn and Cancer somewhere in our natal chart, and we all have a shadow. Bask in the light...it's so much nicer...and it just feels better there.
The highest expression of Full Moon energy will be felt by allowing a sense of security, self discipline, caring and nurturing for ourselves and for others. How and where and with whom can you express the principal of unconditional love today?

Wednesday, July 8
Moon in Aquarius
On the heels of the intensity from yesturday's Lunar Eclipse, we are greeted this morning with the cool, objective Aquarian vibe. The Waterbearer loves humanity (but sometimes can't stand humans...weird, huh?) This energy can be great for taking a stand in humanitarian issues or in getting involved somehow with your community or in group projects. Frienships are supported over the next few days, as well as idealistic visions for the future. Let your mind expand and reach for the stars. Aquarius rules the 11th house in astrology, which is also known as the house of hopes, dreams and wishes. The magic and power of manifestation from the Lunar Eclipse can be felt all week. Throw a penny into a fountain today and make a wish...then give sincere thanks, as though you have already received. You might be surprised how fast the Universe accommodates.
Affirmation for the day:
I trust in the power of consistency and duration. Long enough and strong enough pulls through every time in one way or another.

Moon in Aquarius
Another green light day. Between the continued moon in Aquarius promoting an idealistic sense of cosmic and brotherly love and the favorable connection between the Sun (essence, ego) and Saturn (discipline, intergrity), we are able to reach higher levels of responsibility, tenacity and maturity. We are able to put our revolutionary and original creative thoughts into a solid plan and provide the follow through to make it long lasting and stable.
Affirmation for the day:
If I can dream it, the Universe can provide it.
Friday, July 10
Moon in Aquarius/Pisces
Before the Waterbearer makes way for the Fishes later today, she will meet up exactly with Jupiter and Neptune at...you guessed it...26 degrees Aquarius! Yes...more 26! This is a magical moment indeed. Jupiter is about faith and expansion. Neptune is about our dreams, imagination and visions. When the Aquarius moon meets up with these two planets, don't be surpised if you can actually hear the Angels singing. Talk about your cosmic trio! If you are the sort who likes to meditate or partcipate in any spiritual kind of activity, today is one of those rare days when we are provided a glimpse into the heavens. This connection in Aquarius can literally take us out of our bodies and into a higher, more ethereal connection with whatever you consider to be Divine energy. You might even talk to an alien (just kidding...but seriously, anything is possible today). Whether you will be at work, at home or at the beach, take a few minutes to center yourself, close your eyes, breath deeply and quietly and try to "plug-in" to the Universal electrical outlet. Wow! What a treat!

There is no better high than the natural high I get from being connected to the Collective energy flow of all life.
Saturday, July 11
Moon in Pisces
Continued connections to the magical Jupiter/Neptune vibe are alive and well with the Moon in Pisces today. Before the discovery of Neptune, Jupiter was the original ruling planet of Pisces. Once Neptune was discovered and studied, it was a natural shoe-in as the modern ruler of Pisces. So, there you have it, the old and the new...coming together in a unique time and space, begging for our dreams and visions to take flight. With all that lingering Eclipse energy still in the air, this could be a powerful time of manifesting your dreams and activating your imagination.
Mercury (thinking planet) and Saturn (form) are getting together in a way that encourages us to get organized and initiate a plan of action to manifest our dreams and desires. With Mars (our drive and will power) morphing into versatile and flighty Gemini today, you may want to grab a pen and your journal and write a few things down (so you don't forget). With Mars in Gemini for the next 6 weeks, we could find ourselves a bit distracted and in a spiraling search for more information, fluttering from one thing to the next gathering more and more data for the "main frame."

Moon in Pisces
Looks like the theme of the week has really been about getting down to the nitty gritty and putting our grand plans, dreams and visions into a solid and workable plan. How can we go wrong? Seems we have been given the gift of tuning into our creative mind-field of imagination and future visions, hopes, dreams and wishes and then blessed with the fiery passion and inspiration to spring it into action, and finally the earthy and grounded energy required to devise a plan, and manifest it all into reality. We even were able to activate our emotional field and really put our heart into it, too. What more could we really ask for? This is still a great day to take out a journal and put those grand plans into written form, if you haven't done so already. Then, enjoy a day at the beach. Neptune-ruled Pisces loves the ocean. Better yet...take your journal to the beach with you and make a day out of it. Dream big!

I accept my life as it is and allow the possibilties for favorable change to flow in from any source and from any and all directions.
