Monday, June 15
Moon in Pisces
Today is a day of adjustments when the Moon and the Sun form a 90 degree angle to eachother. This phase of the lunar cycle is known as the Last Quarter Moon and marks the beginning of a one-week long time period of reflection and release. Since the Full Moon, we are losing light and the night time sky is becomming darker. Thus, it is a time to go inward and decide what's not working in your life so that you can let it go. Sometimes this is as simple as eating smaller portions so that we can have more energy, and other times it can be as complicated as letting go of a previously held belief that stands in the way of our happiness. More drastic yet would be letting go of toxic people or situations that no longer support you and your highest good.
Today, the Gemini Sun would have us wanting to feel free, light and airy and somewhat detached from our feelings and any real serious issues. The Pisces Moon, however, reminds us of our connection to others and puts us in touch with our compassionate emotional field. Give your attention to both today, as life is rarely "either ~ or," but instead an integration of the whole.
In sync with the current lunar cycle of reflection and release, it is only fitting that Jupiter, our urge to experience faith, truth, inspiration and expansion begins its retrograde period until mid-Octber. Sagittarius and Aquarius will notice the biggest shifts as a possible temporary lull in their energy flow for a few days. Jupiter is the governing planet for Sagittarius and is currently in Aquarius. We are getting an opportunity to review the events over the last six months. From now through mid-October, we are being given the opportunity to either add a few logs to the fire of our existing aspirations or snuff out the last of the burning embers in prepartion for something new. Either way, when Jupiter is involved, the outcome is likely to be in our favor in the long run.

I embrace the wholeness of my life and accept that I do not always need to have all the answers, only that I continue putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward in the direction of happiness and joy.

Moon in Aries
Ready to shake off the dreamy mystical veil of Pisces and usher in the "I want it now" energy of Aries? There's lots to be done today and this fiery Warrior energy is available to help us get the job done. Mercury and Pluto are squabbling, so make certain that you exercise extra patience and tact, as there could be some unavoidable communication foibles and misunderstandings. Use the Aries energy to be productive and efficient. Choose your battles wisely.
Affirmation for the day:
Inhale deeply through the nose...1...2...3...4, hold in peace and calm....1....2, exhale slowly and completely through the mouth...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...

Moon in Aries
While the Moon is still in Aires, it fuels the passion for new beginnings and bold new starts. With a sweet trine between the Gemini Sun and Jupiter in Aquarius, the Air signs should be humming along quite nicely. That is not to say that others won't benefit from the good luck and fortune in the air today, it's just that Gemini, Libra and Aquarius ~ or anyone with strong "air" element in their natal chart just tend to be more in tune and comfortable with the intellectual and mentally stimulating vibe brought about by this aspect. This is one of those hallmark days to launch or begin a new project or initiate a proposal of some kind (business or personal). A trine between the Sun and Jupiter is always a bonus to have in the birth chart of something new.

Thursday, June 18
Moon in Taurus
After a few stimulating and take charge days ruled by the Aries Warrior energy in us all, it's that time once again for Taurus to bring us back into our bodies and the physical earthy realm of material security, long lasting stucture, comfortable clothes, sumptuous foods and tender touching. Venus is the governing sign for Taurus. Venus is about pleasure and a refinement of our sense and our tastes. This is a great day for a trip to the spa or your favorite restaurant, but not the best day to start that new diet. Relax and enjoy!
Affirmation for the day:
Life is like a buffet. A little sample here, a little sample there...and before you know it, I have created my own favorite menu.
Friday, June 19
Moon in Taurus
An all day Taurus Moon supports and allows us to remain grounded in the changing of the guards and the seasons. Today is the last day for the Sun to be in Gemini and a great time to reflect over the last 30 days and take stock in all that we have learned. If your last 30 days was anything like mine...chances are good that there is a lot of reflection that needs to take place. Take stock in what and who you appreciate in your life, and make sure you let everyone know about it. Trials and tribulations are there for us all at some time or another, and as the dust settles each time, we are given the opportunity to reset our priorities and give our attention to the things and people that really matter. Do we really have to have it all our own way? Life ~ and in particular, our relationships ~ are about compromise. We give a little here, take a little there. When you really look at the whole big picture, what can live with and what can you live without?
This is also the last day of Spring. Have you looked at your garden lately? Do you remember what you planted? Don't forget, we're in the Balsamic Lunar cycle now. If there are weeds that need to be cleared out of the way, this is a good time to do it. It feels like it's been a tough few weeks for many of us judging by the readings I'v done for many of you lately.
Maybe it's time we called a truce with not only the loved ones in our lives, but also with ourselves. Let bygons be bygons and just appreciate who and what we have, rather than spending so much time focusing on what we do not. By early Fall, the harvest will surely be there. I for one, will take the time to ensure that my metaphorical garden is in full bloom with all of my favorite colors, scents and the people who share it all with me. I will revel in a sense of joy and gratitude for the beauty of it all.

When one lesson is completed, the next is sure to follow. It is the experience of love and joy along the way that adds the sweeteness to life and all it brings.

Moon in Taurus/Gemini
Welcome the Summer Solstice! The Sun enters the family and security oriented sign of Cancer today. Cancer is a water sign plunging us into the emotionally charged realm of life. It is also cardinal in nature, meaning that Cancer is a sign with lots of drive to get what it wants. This pushy little mother will do what's necessary to ensure that the family is protected, cozy, nurtured and safe. Unconditional love is the greatest asset in her arsenol of tools, as is a warm and fuzzy, touchy feely demeanor (you know that kind that makes the Air signs a bit uncomfortable).
Is there an area in your life where you would like to feel more safe and secure? Use the next 30 days to figure out how you're going to achieve your sense of home, roots and family. The moon switches back into Gemini today, suggesting that the Twins want to have one last farewell before visiting again next year. Use the intellectual prowess of Gemini to devise a plan for getting the security your looking for in your life.

Happy Father's Day, Dad ~ you're the Greatest! Once each year, we are given the chance to honor our father, or the person in our life who supported us in that fatherly role. With the moon still in Gemini, we might feel on-the-go today. Maybe a day of golf with dear old dad might fill the bill. Venus and Mars meet up today and that spells romance! Declare your love today and allow time to fit in a little romance. Love is in the air, can you feel it?
