Solar Eclipse

This week, on Tuesday, July 21st, we will experience a rare event.  There will be a second New Moon at 29 Cancer.  The Universe is giving us a second chance to initiate the warm, nurturing and healing energies of Cancer into our realm of existence.  Where does 29 Cancer fall in your birth chart?  This is an area in your life ripe for new growth and change.

 

Of course, this second New Moon also happens to be a total Solar Eclipse, where the moon will temporarily get between the Earth and the Sun, completely blocking the Sun's light from shining.  This suggests that we get in tune and in touch with the unconscious parts of our nature and peer into the hidden realm of our psyche and soul to uncover hidden truths and aspects of ourselves that are ripe for change.

 

Eclipses tend to be more powerful, simply because we are evoking powerful hidden inner forces that lead to great and powerful transformations if we are brave enough to summon the dark feminine within.

 

New Moons are the best times to set new intentions, but also the best time to press the proverbial reset button and realign oursleves with our unfettered soul intententions.  Two consecutive New Moons in the same sign is the Universe's way of signaling us that there is something quite significant that is dawning into reality. 

 

Cancer is about the feminine.  It is that warm and nurturing, mothering quality within us, regardless of our gender.  Could humanity really be ready to embrace a new balance and symbiosis between the musculine and feminine within each of us? 

 

The masculine is active, whereas the feminine is receptive.   Within 12 hours of this eclipse, Jupiter ~ the planet symbolic of our urge to experience faith, abundance, growth and expansion at 25 degrees Aquarius (the sign of the and original freedom-fighting, idealistic cosmic humanitarian)  makes its second of 3 exact connections with Chiron, the enlightened teacher/healer within us all.  This gives us all an opportunity to transcend and rise above adversity to initiate huge changes and resolve longstanding issues that promise long-lasting results and a new way of being.

 

The second New Moon in Cancer suggests that we engage the feminine emotional field of unconditional love and radiate warmth and natural healing energy for ourselves and others.  Embrace your inner Mother.

 

By all means, don't just be a passive agent during this New Moon.  Get active and initiate action.  Be the conductor of your own orchestra.  Pick your music and then learn how to play.  Get up off the couch, step away from your computer and imagine yourself living your desire!

 

The New Moon is a time of action.  Seize the day!  Don;t just write a list...DO the list!  Let the Leo Moon following the New Moon inspire and motivate you.  Throw a log onto the fire of your passion and keep it slowly burning.

 

This is a powerful time!  Don't let it pass you by...
