Moon in Virgo
Another full day of Virgo energy. The Virgin has a way of helping us to see the flaws in ourselves, others and in our environment. Virgo is discriminating, discerning, with an eye for detail and organization. Often, people find themselves on a major cleaning spree during these moons, maybe tackling that messy closet, pulling weeds in the garden, raking the yard or organizing all the tools in the tool box.
Virgo strives for perfection in all that she does. It's important to remember that, while purity and perfection are lofty and worthwhile goals, they should not come at the expense of our physical, emotional or psychological health due to unnecessary stress caused by being overly critical of self and others, nit-picky or otherwise hyper-focused on the details. It's easy to lose sight of the big picture when we are too immersed in managing all of the minute details in our goal of reaching perfection.
Mercury, the planet of thinking and communication teams up with Chiron, the wounded healer for some opportunities at healing conversation, kind and compassionate words and sweet intuitive insights. When coupled with the earth-bound Virgo moon, it's a great day to initiate a new health plan, diet or daily routine.
Affirmation for the day:
I have been created from perfection and am part of a Divine Universe.

Moon in Virgo/Libra
The Virgo moon will make one last connection to Uranus, the freedom planet before going void of course for the afternoon before it enters Libra. When the moon and Uranus connect, we often feel a bit itchy, irritable and not in the mood to cooperate with others. Uranus is looking for freedom and independence, spontaneity and excitement. The moon is our "mood," or what we're feeling. Things could escalate rather quickly and suddenly if you begin to feel boxed in by other people or circumstances today. Remember that patience is indeed a virtue. Mercury, the planet of thinking and communication is also teaming up with Neptune, the planet of imagination. Maybe you can escape that feeling of Uranian rebellion with a little healthy daydreaming or mental trip beyond the boundaries, minus the alcohol or drugs. Tonight the moon slides into social Libra.
Affirmation for the day:
I continue to be the artist and creator of my own world. I am free to paint, mold and draw up anything I like.

Moon in Libra
Wake up to an all day social Libra moon. Under this influence, we long for harmony, peace, serenity and balance in our relationships. Libra is the archetype of the lover, the artist, the diplomat. Venus-ruled Libra values friendships, artistic and creative pursuits and elegant surroundings.
Libra, being quite the diplomat, is quite skilled in the art of compromise, balancing the scales so that all is fair and just for all. However, with Pluto squaring off with the moon today, the normally light, gay and somewhat superficial and fickle energies of Libra will have a certain depth to it, begging for truth. Keeping your mouth shut and people pleasing just to keep the peace will be a little harder to do today. If there is something you must say, then say it.
Affirmation for the day:
Beauty and wealth surround me. Nature is infinitely rich and abundant.

Full Moon in Libra
At 4:56 Hawaiian Standard Time, the moon is full at 19 degrees Libra. She is joining up with jolly Jupiter in Aquarius today. Full Moons are a great time for manifesting desire (read Astrology 101 for a detailed explanation of the lunar cycles.) The heightened energy of the Full Moon makes this a great day for networking, signing contracts, initiating partnerships and making connections with others. We should feel generous, optimistic and enthusiastic. The only possible hindrance to that would be the Moon's opposition to the Sun in Aries, who may wish to hog the spotlight and do things independently.
Mercury, the planet that represents the way we communicate, think, talk and write, will be moving out of quick minded Aries and into the more docile sign of Taurus today. While in Taurus, we may take a little longer to make up our minds or make decisions. Taurus likes to take it's time and chew on things a while. Taurus is an earth sign and the archetype of the builder, the chef, the gardener and musician. Venus-ruled Taureans like to savor their earthly pleasures. Mercury in Taurus likes to take its time to make certain that whatever it's thinking about building will certainly be meant to last. Communications may take a bit more time, but once they come through, the results are likely to be long lasting.
Affirmation for the day:
Life is a grand adventure and a giant buffet of delicious goodies and earthly pleasures.

Moon In Scorpio
The light hearted energies of Libra have slipped away until next month. Welcome to the deep, intense emotionally charged energy of Plutonian-ruled Scorpio. This month, the sometimes brooding, possessive, obsessive energies of Scorpio are squelched by a sweet connection between the Sun and Jupiter. These two benefics are teaming up again to bring us some more grand visions fueled by inspiration and an infusion of hope. The Scorpio moon can add a healthy dose of passion and driving power needed to maximize resources and cut the fat, bringing those lofty Jupiterian ideas and ideals into solid form and reality.
Affirmation for the day:
I can nurture myself and others at the same time.
Saturday, April 11
Moon in Scorpio
The moon remains in Scorpio for the remainder of Saturday. Some of you may notice others to be a bit more inward, reflective or quiet. Maybe they might even be a bit stinging and biting, like a Scorpion.
Venus continues her retrograde motion, suggesting a continued review of our relationships and our finances. She is back at 0 degrees Aries today before taking one last dip into Pisces before she turns around from her lengthy retreat and begins to move forward again. Venus in Aries is spontaneous and lively with a spirit for adventure and pyrotechnics. Venus in Aries likes to be the initiator. The downside can be selfishness, the need to be first and the need for instant gratification without any staying power. Nonetheless, this bold and pioneering energy is like a breath of fresh and exciting new air.
Affirmation for the day:
I remain in gratitude for all that I receive.
Sunday, April 12
Moon in Sagittarius
At 8:01 am Hawaiian
Standard Time, the moon bounds into optimistic Sagittarius. If I may be so presumptuous to say, these are my favorite moons. Watch how most people around you come out of their Scorpionic brood and regain their zest for life and adventure. Smiles abound and eyes are sparkling. Life is indeed a bounty and full of opportunity, luck and Truth. Sagittarius is the archetype of the gypsy, the student, the philosopher. The most optimistic of all the signs, the only possible downside is a bit of over-indulgence, impulsiveness and an unrequited need for stimulation. Sag's are known for their frankness in communication. This often gives them a reputation for having "foot in mouth" syndrome. Truthfulness is a fantastic virtue, so long as it is tempered with compassion and non-judgement.
Affirmation for the day:
Life is full of inspiration, admiration and possibilities. I stand in gratitude for it all.
Until next week,
Dawn Elizabeth
